Dr. Isaac Sun has been in Southern California his entire life. Completed his undergraduate studies at University of California, Irvine and completed his dental graduate studies at University of Southern California. His hobbies include reading books, playing video games, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and son. The reason why he became a dentist is to help communicate the importance of keeping your teeth.
Dr. Isaac Sun grew up in La Puente, California. He went to a Private Christian High School up until high school, where he attended Glen A. Wilson. He met many friends along the way and had many interactions with many people. He appreciate everyone who has been there to see him on his journey on becoming a dentist.
Before attending college, Dr. Sun always knew that he wanted to become a dentist. He always wanted to help others understand the importance of having teeth, seeing all four of his grandparents who didn't have teeth
Dr. Sun completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California in Irvine (UCI), where he first met his wife in his freshman year. Today, they are proud parents of two lovely children. While at UC Irvine, Dr. Sun conducted research on TNF receptors and their connection to prostate cancer, deepening his knowledge of pathology. His outstanding performance led to his selection for the Microbiology and Immunology degree, a program that goes beyond a typical biology degree.
Following his exceptional performance on the DAT (Dental Admission Test), Dr. Sun received an invitation to enroll at the renowned University of Southern California for his four-year foundational training in dentistry. During this period, he gained a deeper understanding of the human body and its connection to dental health.
During his tenure at the prestigious University of Southern California, Dr. Sun not only honed his dental skills but also delved into the intricate connections between dentistry and overall human health. He discovered the critical significance of various systemic conditions, such as diabetes, xerostomia (dry mouth), high blood pressure, and stroke, in relation to dental health and the well-being of the human body.
Dr. Sun learned that diabetes can have a profound impact on oral health, increasing the risk of gum disease and other dental issues. Xerostomia, or dry mouth, not only leads to discomfort but also poses risks to dental health by reducing saliva's natural protective properties. High blood pressure, if left uncontrolled, can exacerbate gum problems and potentially contribute to other dental complications. Moreover, Dr. Sun uncovered how strokes and their aftermath could affect oral health, emphasizing the interconnectedness of dentistry and systemic health.
This comprehensive understanding underscored the importance of a holistic approach to dentistry, where dental care and overall health are intricately linked, guiding Dr. Sun's commitment to providing well-rounded dental care to his patients.
Graduating from dental school marked an important milestone, yet transitioning into the practice of dentistry presented an entirely different challenge. Dentistry is a skill, much like playing basketball, football, baseball, or any other sport. Within this field, there are those who excel and get recognized, akin to getting drafted, and then there are the true all-stars. These all-stars are individuals who consistently strive to expand their knowledge, enhance their abilities, and achieve precision and perfection in their work.
Drawing a parallel to the world of sports, it's reminiscent of how Kobe Bryant emulated Michael Jordan's style and went on to perfect it. Some argue that Kobe even surpassed MJ, though opinions on this matter vary widely.
In the latter part of this enlightening journey, we are guided by the expertise and insights of Dr. Isaac Sun, the author of "The Earth's Matrix: The Code of Human Life." Dr. Sun, a renowned thinker and scholar, brings a wealth of knowledge from his extensive exploration into the interconnectedness of life on Earth and the human experience. His work transcends the traditional boundaries of science and philosophy, offering readers a unique perspective on the intrinsic codes that govern our existence. Through "The Earth's Matrix," Dr. Sun invites us to reconsider our quest for liberation from the constraints we perceive, urging us to embrace the complexity and beauty of the world we inhabit. His compelling narrative not only illuminates the unseen forces that shape our lives but also provides a profound understanding of how we can live harmoniously within the Earth's matrix, transforming our search for escape into a journey of discovery and connection.
